CSA

“CSA” stands for “Community Supported Agriculture.”  Members of a CSA become partners with their farm, paying a deposit at the beginning of the season and receiving produce throughout the year.  The farm uses the deposits to start the year’s production.

Update 4/09/14: Deliveries have started!  We still have a few chicken shares left, and are compiling a new waiting list for eggs, in hopes of opening more egg shares in early summer.  We also still have a few summer pork shares left that can be reserved for July/August delivery.  Turkey sign-ups will begin in a month or so.

You can click here to sign up for shares.  You will need to create an account with your email address and a password of your choosing.  Then you will be prompted to select a pickup site, choose chicken and/or egg shares, and any options that you may want (such as giblets, a Thanksgiving turkey, etc).

**While signing up, remember to keep clicking “Next” until you get all the way through to the payment step, complete the payment step, and receive a confirmation email.  You are not signed up until you complete the payment step!**

Basic 2014 Shares include Chickens (bi-weekly or bi-monthly) and Eggs (bi-weekly).  Milk is also new option this year.

2014 Web Store items (available only to CSA members) include Rabbits, Bulk Chicken Parts, Stew Hens, and Cheese [Add-ons are available through a Web Store feature that is only active the week prior to delivery.  You can preview it here, but will not be able to order anything until the week of an actual delivery.]

Delivery areas: Carmel, Watsonville, Prunedale, Santa Cruz, Los Gatos, Willow Glen (San Jose), Palo Alto, Morgan Hill.  Coming soon: Monterey, Campbell.
